After-sun care: how to moisturize your skin?

The choice between moisturizer and after-sun care depends on the damage suffered by the skin after exposure to the sun. The sun, sand, salt water and chlorine directly affect the skin especially after tanning on the beach or at the pool. What is the best after-sun care?

  • Calendula extract: it acts as a soothing and healing agent. In this way, it helps in the recovery of damage caused by UV rays. It is, like aloe vera, one of the most used ingredients in the preparation of after-sun creams.

 

Which moisturizer should I choose?

The components of the moisturizer can be very varied. It all depends on the product with which you want to moisturize your skin. Since it is a treatment to be used at any time, even before the sun, there are many varieties and fragrances. Among the most common and moisturizing components of creams, we find:

  • aloe vera ;
  • almonds;
  • coconut milk;
  • shea butter.

 

An after-sun hydrating ritual
