How to make your bath salt?

Making salts with essential oils only takes you 3 minutes. Epsom salt is the most indicated in the recipe for your homemade bath salt. It comes in the form of small crystals and is available in an organic version. Epsom salt is the king ingredient to relax and unwind in your bath.

To make your own salt, you will need an airtight container, a bowl, gloves and a small spoon to mix it.

DIY: lavender bath salt

Ingredients :

• 1 cup Epsom salt
• 1 tablespoon of baking soda
• 10 drops of lavender essential oil
• 10 drops of rosemary essential oil
• 1/2 cup dried flowers and herbs (optional)
• A little food coloring (optional)

In a container, mix the salt and baking soda with the drops of both essential oils. Add the food coloring and dried herbs. Mix everything together and place in a closed container. Store your homemade scented bath salts in an airtight jar. They can be kept for 3 to 6 months.

When ready to enjoy the benefits of the preparation, pour the equivalent of several tablespoons of the mixture directly into the bathtub, or into an organza bag that you will tie, if it contains dried herbs. This will prevent them from sticking everywhere. Stir gently to delicately melt the salts, then enjoy their benefits by staying there for at least ten minutes, taking deep breaths.
